My Go-To Holiday Health Tips for Digestion, Detox & Nervous System Support

4 Herbs I Love When I Overeat

  • Rose

  • Ginger

  • Peppermint

  • Chamomile

Pour boiling water over one or a combination of these herbs and sip warm and slowly.

Why they work:

  • Rose: Eases bloating and stagnation while soothing the heart and womb

  • Ginger: Warms digestion and helps eliminate toxins

  • Peppermint: Reduces bloating and improves digestion while cooling excess heat

  • Chamomile: Calms digestion, soothes the nervous system, and supports liver detox

3 Simple Practices to Support Digestion

  1. Take a 20-minute walk after eating

  2. Apply heat to the belly for comfort and digestion

  3. Use a clockwise belly massage to soothe the nervous system and ease bloating

My Favorite Simple Detox Recipe

Turmeric Tonic

  • pinch turmeric

  • pinch dried ginger

  • pinch black pepper

  • 3 pinches Himalayan salt

  • splash apple cider vinegar

  • lemon juice

  • water

This tonic supported my immunity as a new mom and became part of my detox routines for liver, kidney, colon, and candida support.

I make a large batch and drink a shot daily. Increase frequency when needed.

Best enjoyed warm, but room temperature is fine.
